   As castle can only surface on deserts I think there are somekind of sand tunnels between deserts where it can travel.

   Just to let you know, Wikipedia gives the ages of the Figaro brothers as 27. I believe that comes from the instruction manual of the game. They also give their birthday as August 16. That would have made them 17 when their father died.
