They are not bored. They are apathetic. They’ve given up hope of anything better, deeper, more real. They seek distraction to forget. I don’t blame them. I am strongly tempted myself sometimes.

Do schools kill creativity? If creativity was a person schools would be it’s concentration camp! I think that young people are going through a creativity holocaust perpetrated by teachers especially ones who hate their jobs. Everyone who agrees this is a disgusting inconvenient truth give me a thumbs up. BTW I’m only twenty years old and I understand this.

teach them words meanings and how to form sentences, and read write
but mostly tell them to READ, and KEEP reading, and never stop, dont watch THE Movie of what you think will be good, READ the BOOK first,
hopefully they will find out the truths of the world, and intime be the leaders of the world

Gatto’s book “Weapons of Mass Instruction” is a great read! His main book is free online, rivetting stuff, shocking….. really is bad… teachers are people, and vary, and the system is the system, and it’s impervious to tinkering.

We do it to produce willing individuals who will fight for their country and make war so the military industrial etc. complex can make money and control us. That’s why.
Brainwashing is a requirment for the indoctrination to work. Actually, indoctrination is the brainwashing. When a club is made that has the highest say on medicine (AMA) it is no wonder most doctors peddle drugs these days instead of providing healing.

REPLACE PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITH NOTHING!
STOP FORCING PEOPLE TO PAY FOR GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED SCHOOLS!
sheeple need to understand that people have to be FREE to use their money on education as THEY SEE FIT!
the government doesn’t provide us with food and force us to pay for government controlled fast food joints, and we aren’t forced to only go to the fast food place next to our house…..WHY DO WE DO THAT EXACT SAME THING WITH EDUCATION?

It’s easy to remedy that. Add the video to your favorites and it’ll be more likely to appear in the filters when somebody looks for something. You can also share and feature videos that you think are important. The sheer number of lives you can touch will be uncountable. Still you can only show people the door… Even so, at least you’re part of the solution.

yea that’s just sad, this video only has 13,000 views, but if you type in something random like “funny shit” you find a video that has almost 3 million views and its been on youtube for a shorter period of time, this proves that ppl are wasting their time “because they’re bored” rather than attempting to gain knowledge and learn various perspectives

I noticed how much of a sham the education system is which caused trouble for me at grammar school for expressing my reluctancy to partake in their corrupt programme, I am glad to recently discover voices that share and explain the history about what I concluded about the educational system, and am willing to use what I learn through my degree in a media background to voice truths which should have been heard years ago through the same channels which have been brain washing us today.

I am a 19 year old undergraduate student from England, I think that the dumbing down of general publics can be dramatically proven simply by noticing that this video has just over 12,000 views (at present) when a video of a “happyslapper” can achieve an audience of millions, people are literally searching for the wrong answers. At the age of 16 upward

My suggestion would be to go to the website of the Mises Institute and start listening to alternative ideas on the lessons of history.
