And for the record, yes, I do “care”. I care about the health of liberal philosophy and the maturity of the people who claim to endorse it. Hence I would love it if immature liberals would stop bringing themselves down to Crowder’s level. If you want to bury the new right for the abomination that it is, you have to grow up. So once again I must emphasize some things: 1. I am not claiming that Crowder is correct. I do not like him, and I am not a conservative. 2. angrydead has to this point completely avoided the actual content of my argument. 3. The problem I am pointing out is that the title of this video is an immature, smearing strawman, and that it brings the liberals responsible for it down to Crowder’s level. Although what I just wrote was obvious, that this is what Crowder meant to convey is CONFIRMED by what the video is in essence: Crowder chastising people for not knowing things about history. Hence Crowder is actually decrying that these people HAVE NOT LEARNED ENOUGH, he is claiming that they ARE NOT EDUCATED ENOUGH. Hence he points out that they don’t know x y and z about history. This is a complete confirmation of my description of his intentions in the video. These two posts are my position

Crowder is not criticizing “education” or sustained learning. He is criticizing THE CURRENT SYSTEM’s ABILITY to educate and teach others. He also claims the CURRENT SYSTEM is politically biased. Whether or not he is right on these things, he is NOT criticizing, discouraging, or belittling EDUCATION ITSELF, which for our purposes we can define as sustained learning. This is very simple, and you guys can’t get past it because of your personal dislike for Crowder.

Read and find out what a strawman argument is. 3. Yes, Crowder’s video IS indeed shitty. The problem is that the person who created this video puts himself on Crowder’s level because of the title.
